At Allerton C of E Primary school we aim for children to develop a good knowledge and understanding of the world through our well planned and engaging geography curriculum. Our children will study a variety of areas around the world, including where we live, comparing human and physical features and developing an understanding of how different places are. We will also equip them with the skills to be able to use atlases, maps and globes to increase their locational knowledge. Children will develop the skills to question and discuss environmental issues that are happening around the globe and come up with solutions for this. The Geography curriculum allows the children to become more informed about the world in which they live.
