Room 17 - a creative community space for LS17.

Room 17 is our vibrant community space bringing local people together to participate in a wide variety of arts, creative and food activities. A place to connect over coffee and a chat.

Room 17 Youth Action Group - Young people in Year 6 – 9 who are developing new passions and steering the creative direction of Room 17. Meet up with friends, take part in food and arts activities, make a difference to your community.

Nourish

Nourish, ACE's Food Club, opens each Wednesday in term time from 1-3pm in Room 17.

Nourish is open to all families of children attending Allerton CE Primary.

Reduce food waste.

Help with the cost of living.

6 items = £3

12 items = £5

Membership = £4 per half term.

Each week is different and includes fresh fruit and veg, chilled and store cupboard items.

Just come along.

Partnerships

Room 17 has developed a strong partnership with Alwoodley 2030 Climate Action Hub. 

During 2025-26 they help Warmer Homes workshops in Room 17 and established the monthly Alwoodley Repair Cafe. 

We also work with them to encourage active travel and to improve biodiversity in the local area.
