Dinner Menu

Our choices are based on a 3 week rolling menu. Parents make their choices online using School Grid an online ordering system for parents to choose their child's meals. This information is sent straight through to the kitchen allowing flexibility of choice up to 8.55am each day. Please remove your child's choice before 8.55am if they are absent that day.

The cost for 3YO Nursery children is £2.45 per child per day.

The cost for Years 3-6 children is £2.55 per child per day.

Dinners are provided by the Catering Leeds and we meet regularly, to discuss healthy options and choices and special diets.

Nursery children are served in the Nursery, at tables which are set out with proper cutlery and encouraged to make healthy choices.

Children from Reception – Year 2 are encouraged to take up the Government Universal Infant Free School Meal offer. This is a significant saving of approx £400 per year, per child. Year 3-6 children can change to having to have a packed lunch if they wish.

Please click on the links below to see the school dinners being offered for the rest of this academic year.

Special Diets

If your child has an allergy, please complete the form below and return to office@allertonceprimary.com. This will then be sent to the Special Diets Team at Catering Leeds.

Packed Lunches

Children who choose to bring packed lunches are asked to follow our Healthy Schools guidance.

No nuts or oranges are allowed in school, due to the number of severe nut/orange allergies amongst pupils and staff.

We have invested in a heated Outdoor Classroom which is used for many activities including where some of our children have their lunches.  This is carefully monitored and only used when it is a suitable temperature.

We also have many picnic benches around the school and in the warmer weather, the children have the option to picnic outside, which they particularly enjoy.

Free School Meals

It is important that parents and carers of pupils who are entitled to free school meals, and those whose financial circumstances change, apply for Free School Meals.

This can save parents approximately £450 a year, per child and also affects the amounting of funding our school receives.

Parents and carers who think that their child may be entitled to Free School Meals can apply at the link below:
