There are two schemes available for families with 2-year-old children. Both offer 15 hours a week of funded childcare (38 weeks of the year) but cannot be used together. Which one is right for you depends on your or your child's circumstances.

Offer 1 - Parents who receive additional Government support

Offer 2 - Working Families Childcare

If you think that you may be eligible please apply to Leeds City Council.

Offer 2

If they have one, parents may apply through the same childcare account that they may already use for Tax Free Childcare or for Extended entitlement (30 hours) for another child. If you do not have an account you can create one here.

We offer 15 hours per week, term time only, between 8.45am and 11.45am.

If your child is eligible that’s 15 hours a week of playing, painting, reading, cooking, climbing, singing, dancing, dressing up, running around, gardening… whatever they like doing. But most of all, your child is learning with other children. Early education benefits children’s social and mental development while also helping them prepare for school. Evidence shows that regular, good quality early education has lasting benefits for all children.
