We had a lovely message from the group at How Stean Gorge earlier this week

Good afternoon,

We started our day bright and early with breakfast in the cafe. Although breakfast wasn't till 8:45, most children were awake by 6am. Children had the option of bacon or egg sandwiches and cereal too. The cafe has a glass floor which looks down into the gorge - the children are fascinated!

After breakfast, we split into four groups and started our activities. Two groups did caving, one group completed the Via Feratta course while the fourth group did gorge walking.

We are now ready to rotate and start our second activity of the day followed by spaghetti bolognese for tea and a campfire this evening.
