Spelling Bee
Thu 06 May 2021Today we celebrated the first whole-school Allerton Spelling Bee in our school hall. Adults of the finalists were able to join us on Google Meet as well as the children’s classes. Mr Dyal our Chair of Governors also came along to support the children. Everyone performed their spellings with confidence and real thought and care. The children used a whole range of spelling strategies when they tried out their words. Our amazing winners were Ayesha and Andrew, both, from 3HL. Tomorrow, they will be visiting our sponsors ‘The Little Bookshop’ in Chapel Allerton to choose a book each.

Online Parent Consultations and Early Closure
Fri 23 Apr 2021We will be holding online Parent Consultations this term, via Zoom, in the same way that we did in November.
The online sessions are on Wednesday 5th May, Thursday 6th May, and Wednesday 12th May 2021. It is an important opportunity for you to discuss your child with their teacher, the progress your son/daughter has made, their work so far this year and how you can further support them.
Appointments slots are available between
- 45pm-7.00pm on Wednesday 5th
- 00-5.30pm on Thursday 6th
- 00pm-5.30pm Wednesday 12th
Some 3YO Nursery staff are available at different times, which you will be able to see on the booking system.
Parents will be able to log on to School Interviews and book a slot with their child/ren’s class teacher as usual. If you have more than one child in school, please allow at least 10 mins between each booking.
You will receive a booking confirmation from School Interviews by email for each child.
The weblink for your child/ren’s consultation will be sent to you separately.
Teachers will use the Waiting Room system and consultation slots will be a maximum of 10 minutes each. Please be on time for your appointment as other parents will be waiting.
Please add your name when prompted to so the teacher can identify you. You will need to wait for the teacher to let you in to the consultation.
At the end of your consultation, simply click ‘Leave’ so the class teacher can let the next parents in.
