Allerton Church of England Primary is a hard working, caring and friendly school. Since September 2007 we have seen some exciting changes to our building. We now have a Multi-Use Games Area, new KS2 classroom block, great EYFS outdoor area which is set within the Alwoodley Children's Centre. Our entrance is shared with the Alwoodley Children's Centre, which is sited within the same building. Co-location, plus Extended Services staff working on the same site, has enabled really strong partnership working.
We are passionate about learning and aim for every child to have a happy and active primary education in an environment that is caring and supportive. We provide a stimulating and structured environment in which all children are encouraged to reach their full potential. We treat all our pupils individually, developing their sense of worth and confidence and encourage unique talents to flourish in every child.
Allerton CE Primary is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled school, which opened it's doors September, 2007. We welcome children from all faiths and backgrounds and those of none. We are privileged to have a diverse school community, with representatives from many cultures. This leads to a rich, colourful and exciting community.
We want our children to really love learning. We want our children to be passionate about what they do.
I am proud to be Head teacher of this Church school, to share our school life and work with you.
